Celebrate Lovecraft's death with RE-ANIMATOR in 35mm!






The Arkham Film Society and Malachi's Cafe present a rare 35mm screening of RE-ANIMATOR for the 75th anniversary of H. P. Lovecraft's death.*

One night only at 7:00pm on Saturday March 17th and will cost $8.00 per person. This event will be held at The Granoff Center For The Arts, 154 Angell Street, Providence, RI.


ADA Books will be at our ticket table selling a selection of books by H. P. Lovecraft.

* Yes we know that technically the 75th anniversary of Lovecraft's death is on Thursday the 15th but a Saturday makes an easier day to have an event. And for those of you who want to celebrate St. Patrick's Day remember that there is a lot of green in this film.


RARE BATTLE ROYALE screening coming to Providence.





The Arkham Film Society invites you to come out and enjoy this rare public screening of Kinji Fukasaku's epic BATTLE ROYALE. One night only at 7:00pm on Saturday March 10th only $6.00 per person. This event will be held at The Granoff Center For The Arts at 154 Angell Street, Providence, Rhode Island. Also for those interested ADA Books will be selling copies of the BATTLE ROYALE novel at the ticket table before this screening.

About:
Founded in 1995. The Blood Drive Co-op's name is derived from an experience donating blood. When you donate blood you are giving a physical piece of yourself back to your surrounding community.


Mission:
Striving for Social Justice through Education/Expression/Outreach by providing an Inclusive and Accessible Art/Music/Community for Everyone to Share.


Descripton:
Throughout many years the Co-op has taken on many forms and housed in several locations under the understanding that you have to adapt to meet the needs of the people. In the past, it has offered various programs including a teen outreach programs that provided a safe haven for youth to see concerts free from drugs and alcohol with proceeds going to different non profit organizations to raise awareness for issues stemming from the struggle for social justice. This time around, the Blood Drive Co-op has it's own building and is in a position to offer more than ever before. The infrastructure of the organization has been completely redone to onboard more programs and offer more outreach in the hopes of helping as many people as possible. The newly reformed Blood Drive Co-op includes it's original founder Jason Palmari as Director of Operations and is currently seeking a Public Relations Manager/Outreach Coordinator. Strong alliances with local arts/community organizations and local businesses are helping to insure further growth. We are currently seeking Team Members/Volunteers etc. to help broaden our organization.

What We Offer:
We offer: low cost recording studio/practice spaces on a sliding scale/yoga/women's self defense/chello,violin,guitar,beat making-production,DJing lessons/graphic design classes/art lessons for children/film and movie nights/various after school programs/performance space/temp studio space for rent/communal gallery space/consignment of locally hand made goods more TBA.
